What We Believe

We are a non-denominational Christian church that bases our beliefs, teachings and core values on God’s Word – the Holy Bible.

In essential beliefs – we have unity.
“There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…”
Eph. 4:4-6

In non-essential beliefs – we have liberty.
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls… So then each of us will give an account of himself to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.”
Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

In all our beliefs – we show charity.
“…If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
1 Cor. 13:2 (ph)

Our Core Beliefs

About the Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word – that it is without error and applicable to our everyday lives.

About God
We believe in one eternal God; revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

About Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again.

About Baptism in Water and the Holy Spirit
We believe we need to be baptised in water and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within us after we accept Jesus as our savior. He assures us of our salvation, guides us and helps us conform to the image of Jesus. He also convicts us of sin, comforts us, enables us to use our spiritual gifts (including speaking in tongues), and empowers us for service.

About Mankind
We believe that we were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, we are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts.

About Salvation
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation cannot be earned, it is a gift from God. If you are ready to receive this gift, take the next step by clicking here.

About the Church
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly to learn about the faith and for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.

About Eternity
We believe Jesus Christ is coming back as He promised. We believe in his visible return to the earth and the establishing of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
