About SIWC
We are a community of believers who love and follow Jesus. SIWC is a non-denominational Christian church. Our mission is to be a church on purpose — leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our services include worship and Biblical teachings. We love to serve and enjoy life together!
We hope you and your family feel welcomed at SIWC. Welcome home!
Learn who we are
We are a church on purpose! We desire to reach, teach and equip people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We reach across the aisle to those who call SIWC home. We desire to serve you and make you feel welcomed. If we can serve you in any way, please let us know.
We reach across the street by serving our neighbors and communities.
We reach around the world by supporting overseas missionaries and missionary trips. We also have six churches in South America that are fully supported by SIWC.
We teach relevant messages rooted in Biblical truth during our services. We also teach these truths through community groups.
We equip people through core classes that provide practical ways to help our attendees.
We equip people to share the good news of Jesus with others.
We equip people to serve and find their passion.
“There is one Body and one Spirit … there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all.” from Ephesians 4:4-6
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters … Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls … So then each of us will give an account of himself to God … So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.” from Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22
“If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.” from 1 Cor. 13:2 (ph)
We believe the Bible is God’s Word – it is without error and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God; revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins and rose again.
We believe we need to be baptized in water and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within us after we accept Jesus as our savior. The Holy Spirit assures us of our salvation, guides us and helps us conform to the image of Jesus. He also convicts us of sin, comforts us, enables us to use our spiritual gifts (including speaking in tongues) and empowers us for service.
We believe we were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, we are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts.
We believe the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross provides the only way for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation cannot be earned — it is a gift from God.
We believe in the power and significance of the Church. It is a necessity for believers to meet regularly, whether in person or digitally, to learn about the faith and for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread.’
We believe Jesus Christ is coming back as He promised. We believe in his visible return to the earth, establishing His Kingdom, the resurrection of the body and the final judgment. We believe our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
