LOVE GOES
We believe that we are called to show love to those in need, be it across the aisle, across the street and around the world. We believe that we are not called to sit and watch, but instead to run to the crises.
Our “Love Goes” ministry provides love and help for individuals and organizations at all levels: local, regional, national and international.
We collect donations each month to give to local ministries. We also collect offerings for mission work throughout the world. And we plant churches to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to always have overwhelming generosity. We like to say that love is, love does, and LOVE GOES! Be sure to check out www.lovesgoes.org for more information.

Our Local Initiative of the Month
We spotlight a local initiative each month. This month’s focus is on filling Loves Goes to Cairo snack bags. A list of items needed is provided in the box to the right. Please ensure all donations are individually wrapped. Items may be dropped off at our Connections Center in our main lobby.
Although this is the focus for this month, we do regularly accept donations for Love Goes to Cairo. You can learn more about this program below.
Love Goes to Cairo
The Cairo School District has the highest percentage of children in poverty in the state of Illinois and the 15th highest in the country. For these kids, evenings and weekends are marked by hunger pains instead of play.
Each month we provide 330 snack bags for kids in Cairo to take home. We are always accepting donations to help fill snack bags. Please make sure items are individually wrapped.
In addition to the snack bags, we also host a Reach Food Bank every month that is open to all residents.
