A Three-Part Class to Step Deeper into Purpose
So you’re new here, now what? We want you to feel at home and we believe that stepping into community and serving can do just that. We like to keep it simple around here, so your next step is to attend our Next Steps class (clever, we know).
Next Steps is a three-part class, described below, where you will learn about our mission and how to partner with us. If you are new or ready to get plugged in, this is your best next step!
While we recommend taking the classes in order, we understand life happens, so it is not required.
Class dates and times are listed in the box to the right and are subject to change. Please double check the website prior to attending to ensure the class is still taking place.
Class Schedule
Next Steps will be offered again on January 28, 2023, in a combined one-day course.
Classes will be held in Auditorium B from 9am-1pm. Lunch will be provided. Please be sure to register for the class so that enough meals will be available.
iCommit
Your first step is to commit your life to Jesus and then join yourself to a Body of Believers. This class covers the history and vision of SIWC and sets the groundwork for our culture and doctrinal beliefs.
iGrow
We like to say it’s about relationship, not religion. This class covers basic teaching on how to nurture your relationship with God. Some of the topics taught in this class include prayer, fasting, Bible study, communion, water baptism, and more.
iServe
This class introduces you to the ways you can serve at SIWC. You take a Gifts Assessment test to help you better understand your gifts and help guide you to the areas of iServe where you best fit.
